Branch Ball

Branch Ball 2016

On the 13th of Feburary, 150 Rovers arrived at Chatswood RSL to attend the most regal event on the Rover calendar. They were greeted by excited organisers Emma Watson and Luke Pullan, who had been planning the event for almost a year. The room was full of tables, decorated with rose petals, ready for the evening. The entrée and main were enjoyed by all, but the cake at the end of the meal is always a favourite. The best dressed male was won by Austin Carey from 1st Turramurra Rover Crew, and best dressed female won by Jess Shea from 1st Forest Rover Crew. Austin was dressed as a king, while Jess had made her own Frozen style dress.

After the formalities of food and feasting, the festivities of the evening began. The dance floor was constantly packed, whilst the surrounding tables were full with people busy chatting and enjoying the night. Alas as the clock stuck midnight, the kings and queens once again became humble rovers, and Branch Ball 2016 The Royal Ball became a happy memory for all.
