Aussiemoot

Every 3 years, Rovers from all around Australia gather together in January for the national Rover Moot. The 17th Australian Rover Moot was hosted by NSW Rovers in Sydney. The next moot will be in 2011 and will be hosted by South Australia. For more information visit the OzMoot website

Better known as Aussiemoot, the 2007-2008 Moot was special for a number of reasons. It celebrated 100 Years of Scouting in Australia, as well as 90 Years of Rovering. It will also be the first major event of its type to be held at the Cataract Scout Camp.

OzMoot is fast becoming known for its endless opportunities. Applications for the moot are now open and available from the OzMoot website. Many Expeditions are filling up so get in quickly!

Each State has a contingent leader for OzMoot who is responsible for looking after and co-ordinating the Rovers in thier state or territory. Contact details for the NSW Contingent will be published shortly.
